Редки червени панди се родиха в зоопарк!

     Тези сладки снимки са на малките бебета червени панди от зоопарка Котслод. Гледачите в зоопарка нямали представа, че майка им Скарлет е бременна с две мъжки, тъй като била родила последно през юни.

     Червените панди водят потаен и срамежлив живот и се размножават само през няколко години, когато женската е готова. От 40 години имат червени панди в зоопарка,но на свобода са само 2500.

     Накратко:това е много рядко раждане и е новост за зоопарка!:)Те все още нямат имена, но вече се проявяват като любопитковци.

The species normally live in mist shrouded, temperate forests of the eastern Himalayas, including parts of Nepal, India, Bhutan and Myanmar, and the isolated mountain ranges in western China
